Steam Shower Enclosure / Unit in new basement bathroom

We are making the plans to finish our basement. We like big showers and recently remodeled our master bathroom to have a decent size shower, however the experience was a nightmare with water leaking through our ceiling and floor sloping done incorrectly. A self-contained unit right now sounds really nice. Right now we have a 4 X 6 ft 3 3/4in area set aside for the new shower. I am guessing by the time we build a custom shower that size, it will be very close in price to one of those self-contained steam shower units (although most are smaller which may be ok if it's not TOO small). I'd like to frame around it so it has more of a built in look. Wondering if anyone has done this before (pics would be GREAT) or has good or bad experiences with those types of units? Thanks!
